Summary: Victorian Shopping - a useful resource
Comment: This useful little book provides a very good insight into Victorian advertising, medicine, footwear, farmer's markets, etc... basically the whole run from chain stores to street vendors. A broader geographical focus would have made the book truly indispensable, but unfortunately it lacks this feature.
