Summary: A good 'go to' book from time to time
Comment: Even though I'm 49, I still got some good info from this book. I think I've built a good wardrobe over the years, full of 'staple' items. After ordering this book, I realized that I was lacking some pieces that I really never even considered, to give my clothes some new spark. I went out and invested in a nice logo bag (authentic Louis Vuitton bag). There are a few other interesting items I have added to my closet to get more mileage from my existing wardrobe without having to spend a lot of extra money, thanks to the book. Buy the book to keep as reference.

Summary: Great wardrobe book
Comment: This is a fun and useful book. It's helpful for breaking down wardrobe organization and for informing shopping purchases. For me, it helped me objectively assess what I already own, and to discover that I already have much of what I need! I did buy it used via Amazon, and as a young professional on a budget, I would not have been quite as happy with the book if I had paid full price. (Though maybe that's just my own personality -- there aren't may fashion books I would pay more than, say, $10 for and feel good about it.) That being said, money spent on this book is a good investment -- the book has helped me organize and objectively assess what I already own. It's more helpful to me than the InStyle book and others which are similar.

Comment: I bought this book and the In Style book and found this one to be the better of the two. It really boils down basic wardrobe essentials and is helpful when shopping or deciding on purchases. If you only bought one book, I would buy this one.

Comment: This book is great bacause it helps by telling you how to dress in different items. It breaks down pieces, body shapes, types, etc and helps you choose the best piece that will be the most flattering to you.

Comment: Loved the book. No models to worry about, your only focusing on the clothes. I actually learned a lot about some of my own attire. There is really no need to worry about dates of clothes since the styles mainly stay the same and what does change always comes back around.
