Summary: Very Readable for Kids
Comment: What a great price for books that are actually readable for emergent readers. My six-year-old knows very basic phonics--short vowel sounds and the silent "e," and she was able to read these stories. Great stories for the "My Pretty Pony" crowd--not real intellectual or profound, but very cute.

Comment: Phonics comics are wonderful for early readers. Children read these again and again. Plant them around your house. You'll find your child picking them up to read while eating at the table, riding in the car, in the bathroom even when watching tv.
