Comment: I bought this book because it was required for my microbiology lab. I hated this class to begin with but by then end i LOVED IT! The book is so helpful and easy to learn from. I would reccommend it to anyone.

Summary: A good beginner's manual
Comment: This book is very clear and straight-forward. If you read the text ahead of time, you will clearly understand the procedures and theoretical context for your lab class. It clearly is a beginner's manual, though, so it does not go terribly in depth into the molecular biochemistry of the experiments, which for many people will be a good thing, but not for those who want to learn everything about everything.
